• • Grey and white, with robust hind legs, a lengthy tail, and distinctive chisel-like teeth — descended from squirrels, but now resembling colossal kangaroos or hares.
• • Diet of leaves, berries, insects, and lunar shellfish; non-predatory toward other mammals but fiercely defends nesting sites and offspring.
• • Numerous on Luna, rarely seen on Vaarn itself. Specimens brought to Autarch menageries fail to thrive — graceful lunar movement is hobbled by the stronger gravity of the mother-sphere.
